China’s Fourth Amendment of Patent Enhance Legal Protection

  China’s patent laws are only about 30 years old, Chinese government, however, attach great importance on China's patent law all the time. In 2015, China published its Fourth Amendment to its IP laws, increasing statutory damages two to three-fold, and expanding a number of patent and enforcement provisions. Some commentators have noted that China has continually increased the IP protection, and has done better than other countries in many fields.   In recent years, with the development of technology and competitiveness of market, an increasing number of new problems have brought to the patent area. The fourth amendment of patent Law made revisions in the field of patent protection, patent application and so on. These amendments would provide law protection for effectively cracking down on infringement and counterfeiting products.(by Li Qian)
